Dear South City Park residents,
Pasted below is information from two emails reporting criminal activity Tuesday night (12/15) around the 1500 blocks of Milwaukee/Saint Paul/Steele Streets.
Those who may have further information about last night's activity, please feel encouraged to share the information with others, including your Block Captain.

(1) From the 1500 Steele Street Block Captain:
Hi neighbors:
I suspect many of you already know about this. The police arrested a man on top of the apartment garages across the alley last night around 11:30. Shortly before that Shasta woke us up and we saw two policeman and a police dog in our backyard. Good guard dog Shasta! I asked them what they were doing and they said they were looking for someone and to stay in the house. We also saw them in Chad and Becky's back yard. You may want to check gates, windows etc. this morning when it gets light outside.

(2) From the 1500 Milwaukee Street Block Captain:
Good morning,
I just received this note from one of my 1550 Milwaukee Street Tenants...it sounds serious and requires extra care from everyone! This is the first instance of this kind I've heard of in our immediate Neighborhood. Please take it seriously.
Tom Rutter
1550 Milwaukee Street Apartments.
Please pass this along to your neighbors and encourage anyone with more detailed information to share the information with others. Thank you.

FYI: Around 9 PM last night I was walking my dog down toward 16th where there was some Denver PD activity. Two officers were parked on Milwaukee and third standing on the corner of 16th instructed me to go immediately inside. They had let dogs loose and were looking for a suspect; apparently there was a stabbing in the area. That's all I know but perhaps through other means details are available; if he/she was caught and so forth. In Providence, unfortunately this type of crime, as well as sexual assault, happened in the neighborhood of my dorm. Information was posted on the doors to alert residents to stay alert and not walk in the area alone at night. Maybe you'd send everyone an e-mail? (suggestion)
