Dear scpna.org visitor,
This will be of particular interest to South City Park Residents and to Members of the South City Park Neighborhood Association (SCPNA).
Typically, the local neighborhood association, SCPNA, uses the 'even months'--October, December, February, etc.--to plan for activities of the following month such as the SCPNA Newsletter content and the SCPNA Neighborhood Meeting agenda. Input for the planning, and a review of current events, are accomplished in part through "Block Captain Meetings" which are attended on a best effort basis by SCPNA Officers, Block Captains, and Committee Chairs.
The October Block Captain Meeting has been cancelled due to the severe winter storm. Instead, we will seek input at the scpna.org web site, using its discussion section. The following list of items was to serve as the agenda for the Block Captain Meeting.
Please, we want all visitors to this web site to feel invited to 'weigh in' at the SCPNA Discussion Board with opinions and recommendations for SCPNA about its plans for the time period of now through the month of November.
Thank you,
Jim Slotta-SCPNA President
SCPNA OFFICERS FOR 2010
I would like to have a discussion about this topic. There is work to be done between now and the November 18 elections. If nominated, I am currently willing to continue as either President or Co-President. No person interested in the position has come forth with their platform; one person who was absent was nominated for President at the September Meeting, and one person who was present was nominated and expressed a willingness to be Co-VP. No new persons have stepped forward with interest in the Secretary and Treasurer positions. These positions all require people willing to devote time to them.
